Early 19th Century SAMURI sword and sheath, blade of folded steel, blade 27.5", blade tip to handle end is 37.25", handle length is 9.5", blade thickness is 0.7cm, with blood groove, small DIY peg in place of original bamboo one. Japanese writing is etched onto the tang once peg removed. This sword has been lying out in an old damp shed, some surface rust, but is still in reasonable condition.
