Believed to be from Ottoman Bathhouse culture and to be used as ablution / cleansing bowls. The centre spindles should have small bird shaped finial but these have sadly flown. The tray measures 29cm across each bowl having a diameter of 12cm. A very attractive, scarce piece indeed.
