SUBSTANTIAL - ANTIQUE JOHN YOUNG & CO'S LTD PUB MIRROR PALE ALE FISHERROW BREWERY EDINBURGH ca. 1920s-1930s - dimensions 177cm x 140cm approx. The Fisherrow Brewery in Musselburgh existed up until 1939. The mirror has been a focal point in a very upmarket Ayrshire Hotel for many years and has been lovingly looked after and hung away from direct sunlight. The colours are truly stunning and the etching bright. The plate is clean and undamaged and the frame original. Rectangular paper label on the rear from Thomas J Ford of Greenside Place Edinburgh mirror framers. A truly stunning and historical piece that would be the focal point of any Breweriana collection or indeed would have a further life in hospitality industry. A rare opportunity !
