WAR DIARIES WWI, Original typed diaries 1914/1915 with some hand drawn maps and much detailed information on trenches, casualties, engagements, positioning, trench work etc. An absolutely fascinating collection. The 11th Hussars were deployed to France in August 1914 as part of the 1st Cavalry Brigade and as such participated in the first struggles of the war. Loose letters and hand drawn maps included. A fascinating lot, hours of reading and research!

The tray measures 29cm across each bowl having a diameter of 12cm. A very attractive, scarce piece indeed.
