MACALLAN 1954 47 Year Old single Malt. Cask #1902 Distilled 1954, Bottled 2002. 700ml. 52% Vol.
One of only 366 bottles produced.
*Note the cork has been compromised by the vendors curious teenage son many years ago and the bottom half is within the bottle with some residual flecks. Note also the bottom half of the cork only fell in to the whisky in transit to the auction house!
Note also the son is a keen whisky enthusiast to this day. The loss is minimal for age, a loss of approx 4cm from the bottle neck.
The label is intact and clean.
Following the loss of the cork, the bottle was safely stored and the contents are as distilled / bottled.
Similar intact bottles have sold for £30,000!!
We are able to re-cork this if requested. Due to the value on this lot, collection in person is advised though we can send this through Royal Mail Special Delivery at the buyers risk.

25 years - THE HIGHLY COLLECTABLE LORD OF THE ISLES ARDBEG single Islay malt scotch whisky - has been slowly matured in oak barrels for 25 years and is non-chill-filtered to retain maximum flavour - a 70cl bottle - 46% volume - all within its original presentation casket and complete with Lord Of The Isles information scroll - in good condition with seal intact.
