BURNLEY F.C. 1914 Gold Fob Presentation League Cup Final medal to Peter Crawford Brown, a staff member, complete with photos of Peter and his wife in later years, a contemporary 1914 newspaper article and and a 1930 letter from Peter to Burnley requesting to be considered for the position of Players Manager at £6 a week. Peter was killed by a rockfall shortly after whilst working in Backworth Colliery. The medal measures 33mm and weighs 20.2g with full 1914 hallmarks. A super little museum quality group from a better age.
