A BILLION COIN OF ROMAN EMPEROR PROBUS coin - comes with authentication letter from The National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland 19th August 1974 -
minted in Alexandria in Egypt between 276-282 BC. The obverse shows the Emperor's bust with laurel wreath and wearing a cuirass. The reverse has an eagle with a wreath in its beak.The inscriptions are in GREEK. It is probably the same coin type as No 2429 in the British Museum catalogue of Alexandrine coins
