A superb Victorian cast iron horses head gate post finial. The sculpting on this is truly superb with much better detail than is usual to mane, head and muscle structure. Hollow at base are for mounting. Signs of weathering but overall in superb condition and displays beautifully. Although it would look superb remounted into a garden and drive would look equally stunning on a shelf. Stands 27cm high approx. and weighs 2.5kg approx
