19th century Wm BUDDICOM & FRENCH LOCOMOTIVE INTEREST Large rectangular framed watercolour and pencil painting of an 1800's French train launch naming all the dignitaries from engineer William Barber Buddicom, a British mechanical and civil engineer best known for his pioneering achievements in innovating and expanding railway and locomotive transport through Europe during the mid 19th century, through the station masters for Rouen, Dieppe, and Le Havre, right down to the junior office boy in attendance, Seissons. The station is possibly in Northern France - dimensions 47" wide x 21" height approx
