WW2 Militaria. Sad and touching large Imperial Japanese Rising Sun Prayer Flag (yosegaki hinomaru) with caligraphy. Approx 38" x 28". 'Dedicated to the soul of solider Ito Takafumi who passed away on July 18th 1944 (Showa 19), made by family and friends for the occasion of the presentation of his medal by the emperor'. Complete/undamaged with some staining/marking.
