FABULOUS c1920s- 30s pair of bookends by Bretby featuring a cat and dog sat on cushions peering around a book at each other. Marked to base Bretby Made in England 2957 and 2958. Each approximately 5" tall. (2)

Condition report: Cat: Has small area of glaze flaked off around the prominent eyebrow. Dog: Has small areas of glaze flaking off around prominent areas of ear, nose, tip of collar bow and shoulder All the defects are only noticable upon close inspection.
