1834 Atlas containing over 120 single page uncoloured engraved maps. Produced under the Superintendence of the Society For The Diffusion of Useful Knowledge (S.D.U.K.)and published by Baldwin & Cradock, 47 Paternoster Row, London. Disbound volume without boards, handwritten list of 125 maps to front stating that the volume is complete except for no. 124 Athens. Condition of maps is very good with only minor age related wear, no front or rear covers present Map 122 St Petersburg has been updated with hand written annotation ''Petrograd'' and most maps have pencilled page numbers. A very scarce volume indeed, most of these have been split with single plates, particularly of America and the World cities fetching premium prices.
