A boxed set of WWII medals sent to a Selkirk man. Award slip shows four medal awards including Burma Star. NB Defence medal missing. Also includes Selkirk Masonic Penny and a Catholic soldiers travel wallet. Poignant little group.

Lot 98
A wonderful heavy gauge silver plate on copper gallery presentation tray on ball and claw feet. Cartouche inscribed with ''Presented by the Captain and Officers of HMS APOLLO 12th December 1981''. 41cm long and in good condition. A lovely naval memento.

Lot 99
Superb ROYAL MARINE post WWII Naval and General Service medal group. Comprises naval /General Service Medal with Cyprus and Palestine bars named to PLY X 5217 W.H.G. Carroll mne. R.M (Plymouth division Royal Marines), General Service Medal with Malay and Borneo bars showing advancement to Quartermaster Sergeant. QEII Meritorious Service award and Long Service Good Conduct both named as above. Complete with miniatures. Medals have been mounted on pocket board and come with a scarce Royal Marine belt buckle along with Royal Marine tabs, badges and insignia. A nice cherished group.
