RARE! LOCAL PEEBLES INTEREST BOOK 'HISTORY OF PEEBLESSHIRE' by William and Robert Chambers 1864 and PERSONALLY SIGNED BY WILLIAM CHAMBERS November 4th 1865 - with note signed 'To Peter Scott Fraser Esq with friendly regards - printed by R and R Clark, Edinburgh - several sheets have been sellotape repaired especially the first 5 pages in are frayed and in poor condition, but the rest of the book is in poor condition - the front cover will also require a repair to attach to the spine of the book, the spine is 95% missing - book dimensions 9" x 11.5" approx
