Lot 428
A huge correspondence lot relating to Mr & Mrs MASON MACFARLANE. Many entires and many many loose letters. Noel Mason-MacFarlane served as Governor of Gibraltar during WWII. Interesting covers, cancels etc. Mrs Mason-MacFarlane was a member of the PITMAN family (of short hand fame). Much of interest and worthy of further research.

Includes Sheriton, Chippendale etc. Published 1892. Includes Vol 1 Part 1, Vol 1 Part II, Vol 2 Part II. Some acceptable wear to boards, internally good with strong illustrations.

VINTAGE COLLECTIBLE - LONDON c1870's - Thirteen volumes of the The Handy-Volume Shakespeare published by Bradbury, Agnew & Co, no pub. date, with red leather bindings and gilt lettering. One volume has one detached front cover, the rest show some wear but generally fair condition
