TWO volumes of BRITISH FRESH - WATER FISHES by The Rev. W. Houghton published in c1879 by William MacKenzie , the red leatherette 38cm x 28cm volumes have a large number of highly colourful plates drawn from nature by A.F. Lydon alongside numerous engravings, the gilt edged pages all appear intact though the covers have minor scuffs to the corners and top and bottom edges of the spine
