VINTAGE ASIAN handmade SWORD STICK - casing made from bamboo - unusually the blade has been hand painted in black and gold in inch measures, 1"-24" - the paint is a little tarnished but otherwise a nice example!
This would point to a custom officers probe blade as well as a gentleman's defence stick.
