How it works


You will need to click on the link below to take your to the online platform that the timed auction is taking place on.
Once there you will need to register for the auction (green button on EasyLive). Once your registered then your ready to bid. Just place the maxiumum hammer price you wish to leave and EasyLive will bid on your behalf. Each lot starts off at the starting price and whomever has the highest bid when the lot closes wins the lot on 20th of November.
If you place a bid within the last 30 minutes, the time will be extended by 10 minutes to allow the under bidder a chance to bid again.

Two leatherbound volumes printed in 1713 of Opera et fragmenta veterum poetarum Latinorum profanorum & ecclesiasticorum duobus voluminibus comprehensa (The works and fragments of the early Latin poets, secular and ecclesiastical, comprised in two volumes) by MICHEL METTAIRE. These 2 volumes are showing signs of their age with scuff marks to the leather of the covers, yellowing of the pages and some very slight water damage to one volume. The books are all hardback with leather spines with gilt decoration and marbled covers. Most show some signs of foxing and all have been covered (without adhesive) in jute or velveteen which has protected the covers through the decades
