A stunning canteen of Victorian solid silver cutlery. Twelve knives and twelve forks H.M. Sheffield 1855, Six knives and six forks H.M. Sheffield 1845. Elaborate engraving to all with beautifully inscribed blades. Approx total weight 48oz (weight as in insurance valuation). Beautifully presented in a Maple canteen with inlaid Mother of Pearl label. With an insurance quote from 1998 £4500.
