A superb complete multi-layer wooden canteen of SIDNEY SILVER breakfast cutlery made by JAMES DEAKIN and SONS of Sheffield, a brass escutcheon on the lid reads Alnwick, A A S 1899, contents, to serve 6 people, include a tray to carry 4 boiled eggs, a toast rack, 2 glass salt dishes with spoons plus knives, forks, egg spoons and teaspoons and carving knife, steel and fork. Crack in lid of box, box measures 41x33x23cm, a beautiful piece of quality ware
