WWI GALLIPOLI Interest! A framed 'Heath from Gallipoli' piece with explanatory note ''Gifted by the Executors of the late Captain William Dinwiddie M.B.E. T.D. who served with the 5th KOSB from 1898 - 1948 and who died at 39 Moffat Road, Dumfries in February 1965 aged 90. Also two other framed award certificates being a 1937 Coronation Medal certificate and an Imperial Service Medal certificate both to a Mr. Francis Inglis.

WWII huge correspondence collection from 14689761 Fus. Read, 1st Battalion ROYAL NORFOLK REGIMENT to girlfriend in Whittlesea near Peterborough. Appears mainly 1944 through 1946 when serving with B.A.O.R. Quite a few Active Service Army Privilege Envelope. Many many hundreds of letters, clearly a man deeply in love during difficult times. Unresearched, much to go through!

WWI Medal trio to 2 Lieutenant EBENEZAR MITCHELL BREINGAN. Received straight from the family! Comprising 1914/1915 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal. Originally Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders with a silver ID bracelet showing Rifle Brigade and home address in Motherwell. Also A WWII Defence Medal for service in Home Guard. Comes with a 1917 Army commission signed by George V and a Home Guard certificate. Gazetted 23rd November 1917. Includes a small photo of 'Mitchell', as he preferred to be known (officer on right in photo), he was well over 6 foot tall. Pleasingly it also comes with a telegram from 1919 to girlfriend later wife saying he was on the way home to Waverley Station in Edinburgh which nicely bookmarks his WWI service. A super group to an officer who served for most of the duration of the Great War.
