DAVID COPPERFIELD'S BOYHOOD by Charles Dickens, abridged by Edward Shirley, published by Thomas Nelson, dedicated to 'Irene' Xmas 1917, with colour plates in fair condition and a copy of ON DUTY WITH PC 49 by Alan Stranks author of "the famous radio series" with some colour plates and scribbling in ink and a watercolour on card of a small dog and crow 1921.

A rare first edition of The Secret Correspondence of Sir Robert Cecil with James VI. King of Scotland now first published in Edinburgh, printed for A Millar, in the Strand, London 1766, leather bound with some damage with pages all intact 18x11cm

This edition published privately in Edinburgh in 1886 and limited to 275 small-paper and 75 larger-paper copies. This small paper copy (18x12cm) with hand-cut pages was owned by PERCY JAMES WINSER (famous for his involvement in the perfection of Lever's Sunlight Soap). Blue board cover in good overall condition
