Lot 318
A superb Victorian ebony and bone topped carved walking cane with gold hall marked band. The carved dragon topped handle is really quite exquisite and intricate as is the carved panel on the shaft. This was originally purchased by a wealthy Victorian gent of standing who was heavily involved in the shipping trade out of Liverpool and has come directly down through the family. It is believed that the carved handle top was purchased on one of his oriental adventures and mounted on his return. 90cm total length, Carved handle measures 11cm and the gold band is approx 3cm.
