Super little collection of militaria to include brass HLI belt buckle, Royal Artillery sweetheart badge, Royal Corps of Signals Cap Badge with slider, ELI cap badge - others of interest and includes Royal Engineer Buttons.

An interesting collection of items and ephemera from the effects of Captain Barton REME. Captain Barton served in WWII with the allied forces occupation of Japan shortly after the dropping of the Hiroshima bomb and include his swagger stick, a cased Beck marching compass, a broad arrow marked Chesterman of Sheffield steel 20ft tape measure, field service pocket book, 1945 US 6th army map of Kure prefecture HIROSHIMA, an original information book to occupation forces with an overview of how to interact with the Japanese people and a selection of Japanese currency. Captain Barton was an engineer and interestingly has returned with a cased Japanese YEW ampmeter. A fascinating lot.

Four WWII campaign medals with ribbons in original box, named to BG Tully of Melrose plus cap badge and stripes.

A cased Most Excellent Order of the British Empire medal with a George VI signed and framed certificate to Lieutenant Colonel William Tattnall of the Salvation Army awarded 1946. Includes a photocopy of the War Cry 1957 outlining William's war service. During the war he gave comfort to the troops returning after Dunkirk and subsequently served throughout the Blitz in London. Also 2 cased hallmarked silver long service awards.

Two WWI service medals to include The Great War for Civilisation 1914-1919 with original ribbon (named to 21988 Pte A Middlemiss Royal Scots Fusiliers), and the British War Medal (named to 21989 Pte A. Middlemiss) with original ribbon with also a 1939-1945 Defence medal with ribbon with original box. These belonged to Alexander Middlemiss of Greenlaw, Berwickshire plus a quantity of UK coins

WWII Era military badge group. South Africa General Service Union is Strength Cap Badges one with Kings Crown and shoulder insignia (opposing facing pair). Badge is 32mm approx.

Military Shoulder titles. Post WWII era KENYA REGIMENT. Brass titles 5cm. Vendor's family member served in this regiment post war and during Mau Mau rebellion.

WWII military Third Reich “Reserve Hat Ruh” (At Rest Reserve) Rosette Badge. Multi-piece rayon and pressed carboard construction. Does have some understandable wear. The yellow ribbon reads: “Zur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit” (for remembrance on my service time), has a glued-on Panzer standarte flag cardboard piece to the center and has a dyed flower and leaf design to the bottom. With reverse safety pin is missing. A rare piece.

Scarce WWII era Italian CARRI DASSALTO DELLA SOMALIA medallion with fascist AFRICA ORIENTALE medal on ribbon. Interesting and collectible pair.
