He and his wife Wendy moved to Los Angeles in the late 50's where he was a chef for the Fowler family who owned Southern Comfort. Both Harry and Wendy lived with the Fowlers in Beverley Hills. They were both gifted many items by the Fowlers, one of which was the 1963 Bulova watch. When Harry died, the watch was left to his brother-in-law in Edinburgh.

The clock winds and works. The rear door is loose with a broken retaining pin, the pin is included, the glass has been replaced by a piece of plastic and the mechanism is slightly loose. The overall effect of this small treasure is quite delightful.

Two ancient rings. One appears to be a Roman coin ring with an unidentified image, the larger one is heavier with a more intricate patterned bulbous head. A very unusual and attractive pair of rings.

This very RARE and unique Byzantine gold Solidus depicts Theodosius ll, Emperor of the Eastern Roman Empire on the obverse and a wedding scene on the reverse. It was struck in 437 CE to commemorate the marriage of Theodosius ll's daughter, Licinia Eudoxia, to the Western Emperor Valentinian lll. This beautiful coin weighs 4.37grams (approx) and dimensions 20mm diameter at its widest point. This coin comes from a passionate Roman coin collector, as with other coins in this auction, and has no certification with it, hence the affordable guide price on it!
