Possibly MARY QUEEN OF SCOTS INTEREST ! A beautiful old piece of silk fabric noted as ''A piece of one of QUEEN MARY'S silk trains''. Comes with a pinned label noting the provenance coming through the Stuart family. 80cm x 50cm. ''Piece of one of Queen Marys trains given me by Mrs Stuart in 1869, whose family had been about the Queens persons she herself with husband came out to N.Z. and lost all their money in speculation, he died in the hospital at Queenstown. Given that this was given to the family in 1869 it cannot be Queen Mary of Teck. Is the reference to Mary Queen of Scots?
