Bechstein Service in Germany have advised that case number #28431 suggests a production date of ''roughly 1906-1907'' The piano was owned laterally by a local Peebles music teacher who spent her life lovingly caring after her piano, owned from the 70's approx and regularly tuned - the piano was tuned around 6-8 months ago but we notice that one of the hammers sticks occasionally - an easy fix by a piano tuner - the piano is absolute quality and what a lovely tone!
