RARE TO FIND - all three volumes of A HISTORY OF PEEBLESSHIRE by JW Buchan, Town Clerk of Peebles, published by Jackson, Wylie & Co of Glasgow, volumes 1 & 2 in 1925, vol 3 edited by JW Buchan and H Paton was published in 1927, vol 1states "One hundred copies of this work have been published on hand made paper for sale this copy is number 96" and is signed by the author. Black and white illustrations throughout, extensive index in volume 3. Dust jackets show signs of wear, red cloth boards with gilt titles to spines. Condition good to very good
